Do the members of the Jonjo O’Neill Racing Club own the Club Horses?

No the horses are leased to the Club & remain the property of the current owner. However they will run under the Club banner for a minimum of 12 months from 1st January 2022. At the end of the initial 12 month period we will look to offer renewal membership & either retain the horses for a further 12 month period or replace them.

Can an individual buy more than one membership?

Yes there is no restriction on the number of memberships a member can hold , each membership will cost £99.

Can a company own a membership in the Jonjo O’Neill Racing Club?

Yes a company can purchase a share or memberships at £99 each.

Can I buy a membership as a gift?

Membership of Jonjo O'Neill Racing Club is the perfect Birthday or Christmas present. If purchasing as a gift you should purchase a membership gift card with your email as the recipient and forward it to the intended recipient on their special day.

What paperwork will I receive as a Member?

Every member will receive online a Membership certificate & a log in code for the Members only section of the Jonjo O’Neill Racing Club website. You will be able to download a welcome letter and if you have purchased the share as a gift, instructions to the recipient to update their details.

Are there any additional fees payable?

No the membership fee is £99 per share purchased with no other fees payable during the initial membership period. Members will be invited to renew their membership at the end of the initial membership period which runs from 1st January 2022 to 31st December December  2022.

What happens if I join the Club after 1st January 2022.

Your membership will be back dated to the 1st  January 2022 & run until 31st December 2022.

Can members go racing when a Club horse Runs?

Yes, the Club will receive an allocation of complimentary badges from the racecourse whenever a Club horse runs. The Club will invite Members to apply for a complimentary badge & if more requests are received than badges allocated a ballot will be held to allocate the complimentary badges.

If I am unsuccessful in the ballot can I still go & see the Club horse run?

Yes subject to current Covid-19 restrictions you will be able to purchase a badge to gain entrance to the racecourse.

Will I be able to visit Jackdaws Castle to see the Club horses?

Yes, the Club will organise a series of mornings on the gallops & Members will be invited to apply for a place , if more requests are received than places available a ballot will be held to allocate places.

Where will the Club horses run & how often?

The trainer Jonjo O’Neill will decide on the running plans of each Club horse & he will place the horses in the most suitable race regardless of location. Most National Hunt horses require a minimum break of 4 to 6  weeks between races.

How will I know if a Club horse is running?

Members will receive an update at the 5 day entry stage & again at the declaration stage (either 48 or 24 hours before the race)

What happens if I have another question?

You will be able to email  the Clubs Racing Manager for an answer.

How can I pay £99 to join the Jonjo O’Neill Racing Club?

You can use either a credit or debit card to join.
